The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services towards the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed with regard to the substantial number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The provider sassa point designed for intervention ordeals a higher inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to permit the servicing of all prospects and improve entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
